Don't Forget Mom this Weekend

Wouldn't Mom love a living gift this year?  A hanging flower basket or pot is a great idea to brighten up her porch or patio for summer.  If she enjoys picking her own fresh vegetables, how about bringing her an assortment of veggie plants? (You could even plant them for her!) Stop by the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning and we will help you pick out the perfect "green" gift for Mother's Day.

David Ybarra and Lora Bridges of Forshana Farm will be there with these plants: tomato, pepper, strawberry, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, okra, zucchini, yellow squash, pickling and slicing cucumbers, mint, lavender and thyme.  They will also have hanging baskets for sun or shade, petunia pots, and strawberry pots. For fresh produce, there will be a limited amount of radishes, green onions, and turnip greens.

Ann and Ruben Castaneda of Todd Farm will also be there with their beautiful hanging flower baskets. They will also have an assortment of tomato plants and other vegetable plants.
